How to find us


Map

From the M25

  1. Leave the M25 at Junction 29(A127), follow the signs towards Romford/London heading West.
  2. Go past the Hornchurch BP station with its wind generators, this is on your right.
  3. About 2 miles from the M25 there is a turn off to the left, Wingletye Lane (if you reach the traffic lights you have gone too far!).
  4. Follow Wingletye Lane for approximately 1 mile, just before the turn off to the school there is a pedestrian crossing, take the first left after this, it is Wych Elm Road .
  5. Emerson Park School is at the end of this road.

From London

  1. Head out eastwards from London , following the A12.
  2. At Gallows Corner roundabout, follow the signs for the A127 towards Southend.
  3. After ½ a mile you will come to the Ardleigh Green traffic lights, turn right.
  4. Stay on this road for approximately 1 mile, you will pass Havering College on your left.
  5. Turn left along Parkstone Avenue , follow this for 1 mile.
  6. At the end of this road it meets Wingletye Lane , cross straight over into Wych Elm Road .
  7. Emerson Park School is at the end of this road.

By public transport.


Train

Take the District Line to Upminster Bridge station.


Walking from Upminster Bridge station:

  1. Upon Leaving the station, turn left along Upminster Road .
  2. After ¼ mile turn right up Wingletye Lane .
  3. Follow Wingletye Lane for approximately 1 mile, just after the turn off to the school there is a pedestrian crossing, take the first right before this, it is Wych Elm Road.
  4. Emerson Park School is at the end of this road.
  5. If using the bus catch a number .............. and ask to be dropped at Parkstone Avenue.

By bus:

Catch the 193 bus towards County Park Estate, Essex Gardens and ask to be dropped at Parkstone Avenue. The buses run every half an hour.

Harold Wood station

There is no bus service available between the school and the station and walking involves crossing the A127. Please get a Taxi.
